Absolwentka hebraistyki i arabistyki (Wydział Orientalistyczny UW). Doktorat obroniła na Wydziale Orientalistycznym UW przy współpracy z Uniwersytetem w Tel Awiwie, gdzie odbyła staże podoktorskie. Zajmuje się głównie średniowieczną egzegezą biblijną (zwłaszcza karaimską, pisaną w języku judeo-arabskim), a także pograniczami judaizmu i islamu, historią myśli żydowskiej oraz literaturą.
